1. What is the best meal?
I haven't come across anything that this is absolute.
We have given all meals from dry food to raw food and have seen the results. As a result, I have felt that each has its advantages and disadvantages.
As biologists say, "raw food is the most suitable for dogs", it certainly seems, and from an academic point of view, it's safe to say that
If you disagree, dry food makers should provide such academic data.
There is no doubt that dogs are carnivorous and it is much more natural to digest and absorb raw food.
But what about the result?
If you neglect your health and unhealth, you will lose weight. Defecation is always loose.
To prevent losing weight, a diet of 2.5-3.0% of body weight is not enough.
In the case of raw food, it contains a lot of water, so naturally it will be a large amount of food, but in addition to that, it is absorbed compared to dry food.
It is thought that it is because it is inferior.
Dry food is taken into the body as a nutrient that has already been decomposed so that it can be easily absorbed, so I think that one of the advantages is that it is superior to raw food in that part. That is probably what the manufacturers are also researching.
Well, I don't think that dry food is better.
Problems with manufacturing methods and inferior raw materials for reducing manufacturing costs are out of the question.
And the functioning of the body is not so simple that nutrients alone can keep you healthy.
I think it is important to use all the functions of the body by eating.
In that sense, it can be said that raw food advocated by biologists is superior, except that it is easy to lose weight even if you look at the continuous results given.
Overwhelmingly excellent.
1.1 Raw food alone is not enough
I don't feel that raw food is as perfect as biologists say.
As I showed earlier, I'm worried about "thinning".
I think there are also stereotypes and sensory individual differences. Originally, the dog's body shape should be slim.
If it is a wild animal, it may be natural to be thin because it is not eaten every day, and from DNA, dogs eat every day.
Not that, so I know I was spending a lot of water on an empty stomach.
However, in modern times, dogs spend time with people as members of their families.
I think it's unnatural to say that it's the same as a wild animal.
They have over 99% DNA the same as wolves.
